Meal Plan - Wk of 9/4

The first day of school FINALLY arrives this week!

Meal 1: Chicken Teriyaki*

Meal 2: Sloppy Joes

Meal 3: Ravioli

Meal 4: Breakfast for Dinner

*This is a crockpot meal:

1 lb chicken, sliced
1 c chicken broth/stock
1/2 c teriyaki sauce

1/3 c brown sugar, packed
1 T sesame seeds
2 T cornstarch

Place chicken in bottom of crockpot. Whisk remaining ingredients (except cornstarch) in a separate bowl and then pour over chicken.  Cook on high for 3-4 hours or low 6-8 hours.  When chicken is cooked, stir in cornstarch, mixing well. Continue cooking until sauce thickens.  Serve over rice.
